Why do you want become a game beta tester?

Everyone enjoys playing games, especially brand new games. What’s better than playing brand new released video games? Well, being part of the game beta testing phase! That is one reason people want to become a game beta tester.
Another reason seems to factor in getting brand new games for free, which would be really cool. The last reason I’m going to cover is they want to get paid being a game beta tester.
Many die-hard gamers out there really enjoy becoming part of the beta testing team due to the fact that they actually become part of the development team.

Yeah, this reason is really mostly for bragging rights since many game companies will list the beta testers in the back of the manual, but to a die-hard gamer this makes the beta testing really worth it.
Have you ever wanted to buy a brand new game but didn’t have the $50 to purchase it? I know I have and many people have. That brings us to the second reason people want to become a game beta tester. FREE copies of brand new games! One of my friends now has a huge Xbox game collection of well over 150 titles due to the fact that he is a game beta tester. All of those games he got to keep for free after testing them! If he would have went to the store to purchase each game he would have easily spent well over $5,000 on that many games.
Enjoy playing video games but don’t have extra money to spend on the newest games? Becoming a video game tester is probably the way to go for you.
Getting games for free is pretty awesome but how cool would it be to get free games and also get a paycheck for beta testing a new game? I agree, it would be totally awesome. I do have a lot of friends that are video game beta testers and they make a lot of money doing so. Not to mention, they only spend like 2 hours a day actually “working”. It is a lot better way to make money than working at the local McDonald’s and it also pays a lot better too.
